- How might we (30-60 mins) How might we (HMW) is an effective way of turning insights into questions that inspire your team to come up with creative ideas. You’ll also need: pens, sticky notes
- Problem statement (45 mins) Once you’ve done your first set of interviews and market research, this activity acts like a sense check – helping you look deeply into a problem and identify whether you’re asking yourselves the right questions. You’ll also need: markers, four different colors of sticky notes
- Crazy eights (45 mins) Create several sketches quickly with this fast-paced drawing exercise. Once you’ve agreed upon the right problems to be solved, these drawings are a powerful tool for generating ideas on how to solve the problem. You’ll also need: markers, blank paper
- Storyboard (30-45 mins) Traditionally used in film, storyboarding is an effective storytelling format in all sorts of industries. This activity helps you visually demonstrate how your user’s problem is solved in just three frames. It translates how your solution fits into their life, addresses their needs, and impacts their lives. You’ll also need: marks, pencils, blank paper
